MARK SABA
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Mark Saba founded Connect Language Services in 2004. Mr. Saba is accountable for the company's operations, management, strategic direction and building of relationships between clients, partners and Connect.
During his career he has undertaken a broad range of roles including hospitality management, HR management and marketing, web and graphic design for multicultural material. His experience in an array of fields gives Connect a dynamic approach to the delivery of language solutions.
His role at Connect also includes working closely with clients to implement effective language management solutions, as well as learning about and contacting representatives of new and emerging communities.

B. Bus – Bachelor of Business, Marketing & Management, Swinburne University.

JANET SABA
LANGUAGE CONSULTANT
Janet Saba is a professionally qualified Arabic interpreter and translator with over 25 years of extensive experience in the interpreting and translating industry.
During her career she has undertaken a broad range of roles including an executive secretary role in a tourism company, professional Arabic translator, English teacher in Saudi Arabia and many interpreting and translating roles for both small and large enterprise, as well as various Government Departments – both nationally and internationally.
Her role at Connect includes overseeing Connect's long-term strategy, consulting clients with their language needs, providing language management solutions and professional development duties for interpreters and translators.
Qualifications
Bachelor of English Language & Literature, Egypt, Cairo.
Post-Graduate Diploma in Interpreting & Translating, Deakin University.
Masters Degree Candidate in Professional Development for Interpreters & Translators in Australia, RMIT.
NAATI Accredited Professional Arabic Interpreter.
NAATI Accredited Professional Arabic/English Translator.

JAMILA
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Leading the connect booking team is Jamila. Jamila joined Connect in late 2006. Previously working as a manager for a prominent fashion label, she possesses the skills and knowledge to motivate, lead and organise a team to provide more than satisfactory results for our clients.
Her role includes ensuring all interpreter bookings are fulfilled in a reasonable amount of time, assigning translation project managers for document translation assignments, managing the Connect Team in relation to day-to-day bookings, and maintaining and growing Connect's relationship with our nationwide team of interpreters and translators.

HELEN, CLAIRE, ANGELA & MARIANNE
BOOKING REQUEST PERSONNEL
Our friendly booking team consists of Helen, Claire, Angela and Marianne. A young, dynamic, motivated and passionate team, they come from different backgrounds and cultures. This has been particularly beneficial in their communication with Connect clients, where they provide a professional and understanding approach.
Working closely with Jamila, our operations manager, they ensure all booking requests are dealt with accordingly, and facilitate the effective completion of all jobs.
