Mark Saba, Managing Director
Mark Saba founded Connect Language Services in 2004. Mr. Saba is accountable for the company's operations, management, strategic direction and building of relationships between clients, partners and Connect.
During his career he has undertaken a broad range of roles including hospitality management, HR management and marketing, web and graphic design for multicultural markets. His experience in an array of fields gives Connect a dynamic approach to the delivery of language solutions.
His role at Connect also includes working closely with clients to implement effective language management solutions, as well as learning about and contacting representatives of new and emerging communities.
Mark is an active entrepreneur with particular interests in business process automation, technology, service and multicultural marketing. In 2009, Mark was one of Australia's Anthill/Griffith Hack 30 entrepreneurs under 30 winners.
Janet Saba, Director/Language Consultant
Janet Saba is a professionally qualified Arabic interpreter and translator with over 25 years of extensive experience in the interpreting and translating industry.
During her career she has undertaken a broad range of roles including an executive secretary role in a tourism company, professional Arabic translator,English teacher in Saudi Arabia and many interpreting and translating roles for both small and large enterprise, as well as various Government Departments – both nationally and internationally.
Her first hand experience and insight on interpreting and translating allows her to find effective solutions for language management requirements. Her role at Connect includes overseeing Connect's long-term strategy, consulting clients with their language needs, providing language management solutions and professional development duties for interpreters and translators.

Operations Manager
Leading the Connect Team in our head office is our Operations Manager. They posses the skills and knowledge to motivate, lead and organise a team to provide more than satisfactory results for our clients.
As Connect's Operations Manager, their role also includes ensuring all interpreter bookings are fulfilled in a reasonable amount of time, experienced Project Managers are assigned for translation assignments, managing the Connect Team in relation to day-to-day bookings and maintaining and growing Connect's relationship with our nationwide team of Interpreters and Translators.
Account Executives
Our account executives work passionately to ensure, as an account holder, you are being serviced according to service expectations and requirements.
They also ensure that the entire Connect team is adhering to our Service Level Agreements and Customer Service Charter amongst other internal policies in order to deliver the best possible customer service experience to your organisation.
Your Account Executive provides you with one point of contact, making it easier and smoother for you and your entire organisation to achieve your language requirement's goals.
Translation Project Managers
A young, dynamic, motivated and passionate team, they come from different backgrounds and cultures. This has been particularly beneficial in their communication with Connect clients, where they provide a professional and understanding approach.
Working closely with your Connect Account Executive, they ensure all assignments are dealt with accordingly, meet predefined milestones and facilitate the effective completion of all jobs.
Using our own proprietary technology, Project Managers can easily handle requests of any size and allocate the most suitable practitioners to your assignment.
Interpreter Language Coordinators
A young, dynamic, motivated and passionate team, they come from different backgrounds and cultures. This has been particularly beneficial in their communication with Connect clients, where they provide a professional and understanding approach.
Working closely with our operations manager, they ensure all booking requests are dealt with accordingly, and facilitate the effective completion of all jobs.
